We are pleased to announce another exciting development at Segensworth Automobiles, as we open our new Body Repair Workshop and introduce 3 new members of staff to our team.

Paul Johnson brings with him a wealth of experience within the industry having held various positions as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer and Body Shop Manager at garages across the south. The opening of the Body Shop also provides us with an opportunity to employ a new apprentice, Alex Rawlings, which is something very close to Managing Director, Rhianon Lewis’, heart.  As an advisor for the University of Portsmouth Business School she believes it is important to offer young people, fresh out of education the opportunity to learn on the job in their chosen profession. Vicky Gorrad joins the team as Administration Assistant setting up the new email MOT and service reminder database.

When talking about the opening of her new Body Shop, Rhianon says “With the number of vehicles on the road growing year on year, the chances of being involved in an accident are increasing and we certainly noticed an influx in the demand for body repairs this year. Space within our current workshop was becoming tight, so I was delighted that we were in a position to purchase the unit next door to us allowing Segensworth Automobiles to offer a dedicated Body Shop/Smart Repair Centre, for the refurbishment of alloy wheels, cosmetic exterior and interior body damage. Employing highly experienced staff with specialist expertise in this area means we can ensure that all our customers receive a quality repair to their vehicle in the shortest time possible. It’s a very exciting time for us.”
